Types and uses of common threaded fittings

The standards for threaded fittings mainly include ASME B16.11, which specifies the size, pressure rating, and material requirements for threaded fittings. Common materials include gray cast iron, malleable cast iron, cast brass, bronze, forged alloys, and carbon steel. There are four pressure levels, including Class 2000, 3000, and 6000.
Application scenarios of threaded fittings
Threaded fittings are commonly used in low-cost, non harsh piping systems, such as domestic water, fire protection pipelines, and industrial cooling systems. Due to their simple connection method and low cost, they are suitable for pipeline connections in these situations.
