TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe is a high-performance anti-corrosion steel pipe, whose full name is "internal fusion bonded epoxy external 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe". TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe is made of steel pipe as the matrix, and a molten plastic anti-corrosion layer is formed on the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe through a specific process. Combining the advantages of various anti-corrosion materials, it has excellent anti-corrosion performance.
Structure and Materials
The structure of TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe consists of three layers:
● Bottom layer: Fusion bonded epoxy powder (FBE), mainly used to form a continuous coating, directly bonded to the surface of the steel pipe, with good chemical corrosion resistance and cathodic stripping resistance.
● Intermediate layer: Adhesive, usually a copolymer adhesive, mainly composed of polyolefin, ensuring a tight bond between the layers.
● Outer layer: extruded polyethylene (PE), mainly for mechanical protection and anti-corrosion purposes.Performance and Application
